Communities: City of Concord

Concord is one of the most respected and desirable business destinations in the Charlotte-Gastonia-Concord metropolitan area located on I-85 northeast of Charlotte. This city of 61,092 is home to two of the top ten tourist attractions in the state: Concord Mills Mall and Lowe’s Motor Speedway. The super speedway hosts the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 and NASCAR Nextel All Star Race each May and the Bank of America 500 each October.

Text Box: Concord boasts the fourth busiest airport in North Carolina, Concord Regional Airport. It has no commercial traffic yet averages 75 flights daily in general aviation. They have a contract FAA tower and a 7,400-feet runway with full instrument approach.

Our industrial parks include International Business Park at Concord and others which set a regional standard for excellence. They host companies such as Pass & Seymour and Dai Nippon who are seeking a quality business address in the Charlotte region. The City of Concord provides electricity, water and sewer at competitive rates with customer service.

Additionally our assets include the Embassy Suites Hotel Resort Spa and Conference Center. This resort features the Rocky River Golf Course, a Dan Maples championship course, and 42,000 square feet of flexible event meeting space.  Also, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte is located within five miles of the Concord city limits, giving us close proximity to a growing major research university.

Everything is within 30 minutes of the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport via I-85. Any major amenity your business could need is right here in Concord.
