 Cabarrus Sustainability Awards
The Cabarrus Sustainability Council has voted to present an annual award for sustainability.  The award will recognize industry leaders who are solving operational challenges by using innovative and environmentally sustainable practices or creative partnerships. Awards will be given in several categories and a special Environmental Excellence award for Recycling will also be presented.  Anyone interested can get more information by downloading the application and review tips for applicants.

 

 

  

Council Meetings and Events:
The Cabarrus Sustainability Council meets the first Thursday of every month at 9:00 AM at The Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce - Chamber Board Room.  Our next meeting is scheduled for September 2nd.  To be added to our mailing list, please email smoose@cabarrus.biz or call 704-260-8108.

Clean Air Works - Kevin Green, Executive Director of Atlanta's highly successful Clean Air Campaign will discuss the critical role that industry and business have played in the success of Georgia's clean air initiatives.
