Cabarrus County sits squarely at the center of the densely populated eastern United States, with easy accessibility from two major interstates. Charlotte-Douglas Airport is the nation's twelfth busiest, and Concord Regional Airport offers a business-only alternative. Our own regional airport fields no commercial passenger lines, yet is the fourth busiest in the state, handling large volumes of private traffic, including the famous "NASCAR Air Force."
