Cabarrus EDC Opens Search for New President/CEO

The Cabarrus County Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) is seeking an energetic, motivated, and visionary leader to serve as its next President/CEO. This individual will guide the organization in advancing economic growth, attracting investment, and fostering partnerships that strengthen the business community in Cabarrus County.

The President/CEO will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing the economic development programs under the leadership of the CEDC Board of Directors. This includes spearheading efforts to retain and expand existing businesses, recruit new companies, and support entrepreneurship and workforce development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate independence, initiative, and a strong ethical foundation, while building relationships with state and local government entities, private sector partners, and community organizations. This position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on one of North Carolina’s fastest-growing counties.
