Samantha joined Cabarrus Economic Development in 2007 and served as Existing Industry Specialist for 7 years before transitioning into her role as Recruitment Project Manager and now Economic Development Manager. Samantha responds to requests for information by submitting suitable available sites and buildings and compiling community information for requests.
Sam leverages her years of experience and knowledge to guide each project and offer personalized support to every client.
Stephanie Burleson

Stephanie joined Cabarrus Economic Development in May of 2022 and was promoted to the role of Business Support Manager in fall of 2022. In this role, Stephanie oversees programs related to local start-up activities, business support and retention, and other support services related to businesses in Cabarrus County.
Prior to joining EDC, Stephanie worked in the print industry focusing in customer service for 5 years and with Cabarrus County Schools for an additional 3 years.
