Healthcare

North Carolina has some of the country’s top medical facilities as well as affordable health care costs.

Cabarrus County is home to Atrium Health, which provides services through an extensive inpatient and outpatient network, including Jeff Gordon’s Children’s Center, Hayes Family Center and Batte Cancer Center.

Education

Both Cabarrus County Schools (CCS) and Kannapolis City Schools (KCS) have been cited among the best school systems statewide.

Cabarrus County offers the only K-12 STEM pipeline in the state of North Carolina. This means that children can start kindergarten at a STEM school, graduate from there, and have 13 years of science, technology, engineering and math education, better preparing them for the workforce.

Innovative academies have been established in each public high school in both Cabarrus County and Kannapolis City School systems.
