Presented by: Cabarrus County Government
Cabarrus County has been and continues to be intentional about understanding and meeting the childcare needs of working families in the county. In partnership with Cabarrus County, we will be hosting a Childcare Roundtable to identify and evaluate the current impact childcare has on families, employers, and the workforce. For many families, decisions about child care are also decisions about work. Let’s talk about the challenges and the opportunities!
We are inviting you or a representation from your company to participate in a Childcare Roundtable Discussion on September 29th from 9:00am to 10:00am at The Cabarrus Center – 57 Union Street South, Concord.
The meeting will be facilitated by Carla Brown, Early Childcare Education Coordinator, Cabarrus County Government.
This discussion will also include opportunities to hear about childcare challenges, solutions, and needs that you have experienced with your employees. We are looking to gain an understanding of efforts made by businesses to address childcare needs identified by their employees or any challenges with childcare that you have determined. Your participation and input will directly influence the development of the community vision and response to these issues for the next several years.
>> Please email Shanell Varner with your RSVP and she will forward the calendar invite as confirmation.
