Stephanie Burleson joined Cabarrus Economic Development in May of 2022 and was promoted to the role of Business Support Manager in the fall of 2022. In this role, Stephanie oversees programs related to local start-up activities, business support and retention, and other support services related to businesses in Cabarrus County.
Prior to joining EDC, Stephanie worked in the print industry, focusing on customer service for 5 years and with Cabarrus County Schools for an additional 3 years. Her experience working with diverse backgrounds through a number of professional settings has given her the keen ability to not only build community relationships but also develop those into successful partnerships. A native of Myrtle Beach, SC, Stephanie has lived in Concord for 13 years. She is a graduate of Winthrop University with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
